Here is the link to an event description on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1598079813540420/
Below is their event description.
“As NYC students we must rise up against bigotry, hatred, and prejudice. We are a part of this city. We are Muslim. We are immigrants. And we have a voice.
UPDATE : !!! We continued to resist and it paid off. On the other hand, even though there was a temporary halt on the Muslim ban, we must remain vigilant. Focus on the next issue. Focus on the injustice that went unnoticed. Right now, this country might be going through a moment of drastic change. Let it be on our terms. Join students across the city on Tuesday @ 12 pm at Foley Square. Rain or shine, we will rise up.
As students from different schools and institutions we plan to walkout of school at 12:00 pm on Tuesday in protest of the tragic executive order that WILL affect us! We will not remain silent. We will not repeat the failures of our past.
Co-sponsoring is NY Immigration Coalition , Arab American Association of NY and MPower Change !! ✊🏼
